Support for Menstrual Health and Hygiene for Girls

This month of May 2021 we are joining the Launch of the Menstrual Health Campaign with our partners Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Alliance Uganda. The campaign will run thought out the month of May 2021 under the theme; "Accelerated Actions to improve Menstrual Health and Hygiene for girls and young women in and out of school" and aims at promoting the urgent need for proper menstrual health and hygiene management for girls and young women in Uganda.
Foundation for Integrated Rural Development- FIRD is running a Buckets4girls Hygiene we shall be giving out buckets for girls to ensure girls are able to have a bucket to bath, wash their panties and re-washable pads during their menstrual periods while at school and at home in post conflict Northern Uganda.
You can join this action by donating a bucket for a girl for 20,000 Uganda shillings which is equivalent to approximately 6 dollars OR a bucket and a packet of Pads for girls at 25,000 Uganda shillings Equivalent of 7 dollars.
We thank Racheal Okuja and Harriet Adong who have already started the drive to this cause.
Please join us on this journey as we join hands to contribute to supporting girls in the rural post conflict communities to manage their menstruation hygienically, with normalcy and dignity.
