<div>Mel and Juz have two young girls, 8 and 6 years old. Their eldest Charli-Koko was born with Central Apnea and epilepsy, a risky combination that stops her breathing at any time, suffering from seizures every day and other disabilities. Most of her life has been spent in emergency, serious ops &amp; hospital stays, treatments or special care so life has been stressful.

<div>Mel's always fought hard and kept strong for her family, but now the focus is on her health. Born with the dangerous BRCA2 gene, Mel has fought breast cancer already and had drastic surgeries to prevent future risk, already having a double mastectomy and hysterectomy just 2 years ago. Upsettingly, the gene has hit again and will be a long ongoing fight.

<div>Mel’s life has been blow after blow, yet you'd never meet a stronger person to keep going and see the fun out of life. This next chapter isn't so fun though, it'll be hard to be the strong one when you're struck with stage 3 cancer. This time some serious treatment is needed to remove and kill the cancer that has appeared and advanced to her lymph nodes, she'll need to slow down and take care of herself to be given a chance.

<div>Hoping we can find some spare funds in this giving season to help the family with everything that's coming their way - for time off work, medical bills, hospital incidentals and parking fees, ongoing meals, school lunches, respite care, babysitting and further support they might need. Any little bit together will go a long way to relieve the stress and hope to give her the best chance of good health. She’ll be embarrassed by this, but we just want to help.
