Support for Mell Brumfield and her kids

Mell Brumfield (Seufale) and her family have been through so much and need the support of the community.
She lost her sister in January and has been taking care of her sister's three children along with her two daughters. Covid-19 caused her to lose her job and daycare. Due to a kitchen fire they have also lost their home. Mell's two-year-old was injured in the fire, but has been released from the hospital.
They have all been living in and out of a hotel for months, often having to wait outside after check out while waiting to get funds to rent a room for another night. Mell has contacted every aid group in the area, and is on several waiting lists - immediate, real financial help is what she needs from us right now. She has been unable to get unemployment assistance thus far as well.
The money raised will go first to food, the hotel, and diapers. The basics to get by while she navigates what feels like an impossible situation.
Mell is going in to sign papers on Monday, 8/24 on a place to move into, and will hopefully be able to move the following Thursday. Two weeks ago her car was impounded because she couldn't make her payments, so we are hoping to cover those fees so she can move into her new place with ease and be mobile again.
Before the house fire Mell offered to help my friend who is immunocompromised with some errands. I've been helping this friend out a lot during the pandemic. Mell contacted my friend and explained why they weren't able to help - the fire just happened. My friend then started to raise funds on their own to help Mell out, and that's how I became aware of the situation. I brought some food donations to Mell at the hotel. Later I brought over some diapers and food and sent some donations. I've been in near constant conversation with Mell since. While I've donated what I can and held some fundraisers selling my art it's not enough, so I've put this page together in the hope that her story can be spread widely, and she can get the help she and her family so desperately need right now. Mell has been having issues with her bank and couldn't access the 1,000 that was raised on a separate gofundme so I offered to set up this one. All funds are being transferred directly to her cashapp or paypal once received.
