<div>Matcha was a six month old stray kitten I took in and raised. He was full of curiosity, warmth, and so much bright energy for the short time he was here. On November 14th, he passed away from panleukopenia, a fast-moving and often fatal virus in young cats.

<div>My friend helped take him to an emergency vet, where we made the heartbreaking decision to peacefully euthanize him so he wouldn’t suffer. Even though his life was brief, Matcha was deeply loved, and losing him has been incredibly painful.

<div>Because I’m currently a student and don’t have a stable income, I’m struggling to cover the unexpected medical and emergency care costs from his final days.
