Support for Mason & the Kendall Family

Imagine every college parent’s fear coming true: the call that your child is in the hospital. This fear has become a reality for Dawn and Brian Kendall. WE all know the sweet and supportive Kendall family and that they are always there to help others. This time the Kendall’s need our help!
It’s already been a long road for their son, Mason, but he is now in a great hospital with a great team helping him recover. He is currently at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, in the ICU. He is 10 days into this fight and looks like he could be there for up to 2 months fighting an autoimmune attack on his central nervous system. The team has prepared the family for this to be two steps forward one step back recovery. This will more than likely be followed by continued rehabilitation when he is discharged.
They are devastated to say the least and can use all the prayers for healing and strength at this time! You can imagine the expenses being incurred with three (3) different hospital stays, a very long ambulance ride (South Bend to Chicago), hotel/long term lodging fees, food, parking, tolls, gas etc. If you are able to help, we are hoping to ease the financial burden of this journey so they can focus on their son’s healing and their family during this most difficult time.
Our goal is to allow the entire Kendall to have strength and focus as a family and share that with Mason so that he can heal. Please think about what you might need at a time like this: words of encouragement, prayers, funny cards and the such. With that being said, if you text them or call, they may not respond as they are with Mason. Post your questions and concerns and we will get them answered as quickly as we can.
