My name is Marius Aagesen, I’m 17 years old and I live in a small surf-village in Denmark called Klitmøller.
I was 1 year old when I stepped up on a surfboard for the first time. My big brother Tomas placed me between his legs and windsurfed with me. I loved every second. After that experience, water sports have been a big part of my life. I started swimming when I was 3, and at the age of 10, I was introduced to wave-surfing. Already when I catch my first wave, I knew that this was “my” sport. The last 2 years my dream has been to be able to surf everyday. Because of that I moved to the small surf town called Klitmøller, where I can combine my education with surfing. It’s 300 miles from home, but being able to surf everyday Is worth it. My goal Is to be the first Dane to qualify for the World tour.
With a lot of hard work, I’ve qualified for the 2017 junior world championships in Japan. I’m studying and don’t have the economy to pay for all of the trip myself, That’s why I want to ask you if you want help a dream come true.
Wins: 2x Heavy Agger champ (event at the Danish surf tour), top 20 in Europe and placed in top 5 in my country in men’s.
