It is with a heavy heart that I contact all of you once again to bring support to a family in our community. Sweet little Marco from the Villafaña / Casillas family has joined the ranks of the angels after a lengthy hospital battle, and I would love if we could all pitch in to support them.

I am coordinating this via GFM this time to try something new, as I ordinarily accept each payment and collate them into a gift fund across each payment platform to preserve each person's anonymity so no one feels put on the spot about the amount of their donation. Due to my schedule this week, I don't have the bandwidth to do that, so we're changing it up and we'll do it through GFM into one big bucket. I am open to either cashing it out to provide a meal card and a gift as usual or delivering it as cash, whichever people think is best.

As always, PLEASE do not feel obligated. I coordinate these as an opportunity for people to offer support in our small community, but it will be presented as a gift from all of us regardless of who is able to contribute financially.

You should still be able to donate anonymously using GFM, but you'll also be able to leave a message of support that we can pass along and sign your donation should you choose to do so. I'd like to turn this around quickly so that we can get the Villafañas the support they need right away.
