Our family suffered an unimaginable loss. Fire destroyed my Uncle Mal Tashjian's home — the house he built himself and where he raised his children. They left for work with the clothes on their back, and in a matter of moments, everything was gone. Most heartbreaking of all, their beloved pets, Roxy and Sebastian, could not be saved despite rescue efforts.
  The things they lost don't matter. It's the memories, notes, and photos of their Mom, who Malcolm and Ralphie lost 10 years ago when they were in elementary school, and their beautiful pets.
  We are deeply grateful that the family is safe, but they are now displaced for more than a year, devastated, and facing the overwhelming reality of starting over. 

 "Big" Mal has always been the one to help, never asking for anything. His pride runs deep, and accepting support is not something he does. But with this unimaginable loss, even the strongest need help.
  As the family begins their long road ahead — they need continued support. Every prayer, share, and donation helps more than you know. Though the goal may be exceeded, it will take far more than ever imagined to replace basics and rebuild their home.
