<div>To have seen Peter Paul Garamone Sr. with his son was to witness soul-bound love and contagious joy.  Pete brought a gregariousness and spark with him to every relationship and we are sorry he is lost to us.

<div>On April 15,  when returning to his truck at a gas station in Wisconsin, Pete was hit by lightning and killed.  Passers-by attempted to revive him; we are grateful for their efforts as well as those of  the local emergency services and the hospital.

<div>Our Go Fund Me  goal is to assist Pete’s  wife, Lisa,  and their son, Peter Paul Jr.,  during this time of transition, to bring Pete home and to support atrangements.

<div>When his son turned five, Pete wrote  a heart-felt birthday poem to his boy, surprising us with it—he was like that.
