<div>I wanted to provide a quick update on behalf of Lisa and Brett. At this moment they are still in Scotland.

<div>Brett is on the mend!!! He is slowly walking around the ICU, eating as much as possible and building strength. The organs are on the mend too. We have to be reminded that it is a slow process and the kidneys take a lot of time to get the full function back. We are being positive each step of the way and looking forward to more good news tomorrow. We cannot THANK YOU all enough for the abundance of positive thoughts, prayers and contributions. <div>Lisa and her husband Brett were on vacation in Scotland when the unthinkable happened. Brett suffered a medical emergency that left him hospitalized on a ventilator in a medically induced coma. Thanks to the incredible efforts of the medical team, Brett is progressing on a very long road to recovery.

<div>As you can imagine, Brett’s journey has just begun. Doctors don’t yet know when he will be moved out of the hospital and into a house to continue his recovery until he is strong enough to fly back to the States. This unexpected situation has significantly strained Lisa and Brett financially and emotionally.
