On April 19, 2026, our lives were forever changed when Lester Owens III was tragically taken from us due to gun violence. Lester was more than just a name—he was a son, a friend, and a light in the lives of so many who knew and loved him. Lester had a spirit that could brighten any room. He was known for his kindness, his sense of humor, and the way he showed up for the people he cared about. Whether it was making someone laugh, offering support, or simply being present, Lester left a lasting impact on everyone around him.

This unexpected loss has left our family heartbroken and facing emotional and financial challenges we were not prepared for. We are sorry this GoFundMe is being started later than we hoped, but we need more help covering the funeral and memorial expenses to give Lester the proper homegoing he deserves. Any donation, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated. If you are unable to give, we ask that you please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers and share this fundraiser with others. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, support, and compassion during this incredibly difficult time. Rest in peace, Lester Owens III. You will always be loved and never forgotten.
