On March 19, Leisa Smith, of the Office of Sponsored Research, lost all of her belongings in an apartment fire.
The fire started outside her building in some discarded furniture. A neighbor’s security camera footage shows that two people deliberately lit the items on fire.
The fire spread from the debris to Leisa's apartment. She lost all of her possessions in the fire, as well as her shelter.
