<div>I’m writing this on behalf of my sweet friend Lauren, a brave and beautiful 11-year-old girl from the Milton community, and her loving parents, Melanie and Jeff. This is a family that means so much to so many of us, and today, they need our support more than ever.

<div>Just days after her birthday on June 2nd, Lauren was diagnosed with leukemia—specifically, B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), high risk. This diagnosis has turned their world upside down. Instead of enjoying summer break, horseback riding, or hanging out with her cousins and friends, Lauren is now facing a 2.5-year treatment plan full of hospital visits, IVs, procedures, and an entirely new way of life.

<div>Lauren is the kind of child who makes every room brighter. She has a huge heart and a smile that never quits. She loves horseback riding, spending weekends at the trailer, and playing with her cousins and friends. Her joyful spirit shines through in everything she does.

<div>Her parents, Melanie and Jeff, are doing everything they can to be by her side. As Lauren is their only child, they’ve put their careers and finances on hold to focus solely on her care, comfort, and recovery.
