Support for Lauren, John and Jove ♥️

Hello everyone.

As many of you will now know, Lauren and John welcomed their beautiful baby boy Jove Ocean Jeffries into the world last Monday, 20th May.

Very soon after Jove was born, doctors noticed there were complications and he soon became very unwell. This resulted in Jove being taken from Treliske hospital via air ambulance to Bristol children’s hospital with John there to look after him, Lauren being too poorly to travel, was left behind at Treliske and heartbreakingly separated from Jove.

Whilst at Bristol hospital, it became apparent Jove needed emergency surgery, this took place last Friday evening, well into the night. They are now all in Bristol together, Jove has proven to already be such a strong little boy but his recovery will likely be a lengthy one.

Now as a family, Lauren, John and Jove have a long road to recovery ahead.

They are likely to be based in Bristol for the foreseeable whilst Jove is getting the care he needs in the hope he will be well enough to get back home and be a family where they belong.

For anyone that knows Lauren and John, you will know what it means to them to finally be able to call themselves parents and have a child of their own, it hasn’t been an easy road but they could never have imagined the start being this upsetting.

That is why we’re taking time to set up this gofundme page to try and relieve some of the stress that they’re having to go through at such a difficult time.

There are costs mounting by the day and the likelihood of anyone being able to return to work anytime soon is unrealistic and a long way off.

So please, if you can, join us in contributing towards anything that may help them at this difficult time, be it enough to buy a coffee in the hospital or something to help towards accommodation/food in Bristol hospital or household bills whilst both are unable to work.

It will be so very much appreciated, from us and I know from them.
