Support for Lamont’s Road to Recovery

Tax deductible
When hard times pop up in life, what do you do?  For those who know Lamont (a.ka. Frankie), the answer is easy - - you step in and help in any way you can.

Right now, Lamont is experiencing the ultimate hard time, a fight for his life, and is in need of help.  Lamont was critically wounded after a bullet entered his stomach, causing damage to his internal organs.  The best surgeons worked to save his life but there is a long road ahead to a full recovery.

As an ambitious, talented and bright young man, Lamont received a scholarship to travel from Watts/Palmdale, CA to Nashville, TN to attend Fisk University.  It was here that he was awarded a bachelor’s degree.  He later received a master’s degree from Tennessee State University and has been actively pursing his Ph.D. and C.P.A. license.  Lamont also became an esteemed brother of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.  By nature, he’s a protector, a mentor and a peacemaker and it was these qualities that were on display on Saturday, May 1, 2021, when he stepped in to stop a brutal beating of another young man.

No one can fully prepare for something like this happening and although Lamont is very financially responsible, his medical bills alone are anticipated to be astronomical.  In addition to other commitments, like his mortgage, car, student loans, living expenses and care for his beloved pit bulls, he simply won’t be able to manage these things while healing from this senseless act of violence.

Our family thanks you for sharing our GoFundMe page with other big-hearted people around the world.  Your fervent prayers, well wishes and donations are appreciated more than our words can express.

From our family’s grateful hearts to yours ♥
