<div>Our brother, Kevin Madrigal, has been in the ICU at Palomar Hospital since Sunday, September 7, after suffering a cardiac arrest that caused a severe brain injury. The doctors do not believe he will recover meaningful function, and our family is holding on day by day, praying for a miracle, his comfort, and his healing. On Monday, he will be transitioned into comfort care, where our focus will be on keeping Kevin comfortable and surrounded by love.

He fought bravely in the ICU at Palomar Hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest on September 7 that caused a severe brain injury. Kevin was surrounded in love by his mom, his sisters, and his son’s mother in his final moments.
