Kaylee has been a bright light in our lives, dating my son Matthew for almost two years now. She’s a senior at Mechanicville High School, attends BOCES for cosmetology, and works in beauty at JCPenney. Kaylee is known for her huge heart, infectious laughter, and the way she always goes above and beyond for those she cares about. Her love for her family and friends shines through in everything she does, and she’s always the first to offer a helping hand or a kind word.

 Recently, Kaylee received the difficult diagnosis of T-cell leukemia. This news has changed everything for her and those who love her. She now faces a long road of treatments and hospital visits. Her mother will be by her side every step of the way, which means missing work to provide the care and support Kaylee needs. My son Matthew, who is also a senior in high school, will be there for her as well, offering strength and comfort during this challenging time.
