<div>On October 28, 2025, my mother, Kathy Wilkins, lost her beloved husband and life partner- Doug Wilkins. Their love and commitment to one another was the foundation of their lives, and his passing has left a deep emotional and financial burden that she cannot face alone.

<div>Kathy is retired and has been battling multiple serious medical conditions for years. She requires oxygen daily and is unable to work. Her husband was her primary source of support — emotionally, physically, and financially. Now that he has passed, her only income is stand-alone Social Security, which simply isn’t enough to cover housing, utilities, medical costs, food, and other basic living expenses. There now is a major shortage to just be able to pay for basic life needs.

<div>She has always been a loving wife, mother, and friend — the kind of person who gave what she could to others, even when she had little for herself. Asking for help is not easy for her, or for our family, but we are doing this because she truly needs it.
