Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers, I'm Tricia Baltierra, and I find myself reaching out to you with a heavy heart, but hopeful. My wife, Karen Baltierra, recently faced a life-altering single-car accident on February 15th, resulting in a totaled vehicle and severe injuries. 

The accident occurred less than a mile from our home, as Karen approached a turn and lost control of the vehicle when she over corrected. The truck rolled several times, landing on its side. It is by the grace of God she is still with us as she wasn't wearing a seat belt and the air bags didn't deploy.

The accident has left Karen with a fractured pelvis and spinal fracture to her T12 and L1 vertebrae and had to be life flighted to the University of Utah.

We are grateful she is alive, but this incident has brought on financial strain, as Karen is unable to return to work for the next 3 months.

The funds raised will be crucial in covering medical expenses, essential household bills and living expenses during Karen's recovery. Your generosity will contribute to ensuring the care and support necessary for a smooth healing process until she can return to work.
