Support for Karen Moore

I'm sure many of you have noticed Karen's absence for the dog world over the last couple of years. While some of you think Karen had decided to step out of Dalmatians, the truth is Karen has had a very tough couple of years. Two years ago Karen went in for a elective knee replacement that has been a down hill spiral for her. The knee is great but as a result of the surgery she through a blood clot to her GI. The blood clot episode then lead to a long list of health problems. Karen was just starting to get things back to normal recently when she had another blood clot in her GI. While we thought she was on the way to yet another recovery she got the devistating news that she has to have surgery to remove part of her GI. As if that was not devistating enough, she then received a letter from her place of employment for 21yrs that she has been terminated. This means no insurance! Between not being able to work and medical bills it's been a big struggle financially. Please help me help my friend so she can go into surgery next week not worrying about how she will pay for her medical bills, house, and other living expenses. She'll probably kill me for this but I know she needs help. Thanks for any help you can provide.
