On Jan 2, 21 a tradgedy struck our family.
My beautiful niece Cassondra "Cassie" was fatally shot in her home in Anchorage Alaska in a domestic dispute. Cassi 33 leaves behind two daughters, Kai 11 and Anna 6. The girls are struggling to process the loss of their Mother. They must somehow regain a sense of normalcy and structure in their young lives. The girls will likely need extensive therapy and ongoing support.
Thankfully, the girls have two loving Grandparents who will be able to raise them in a supportive environment.
My Sister Kathy and her husband Ben Clamon, have flown to Alaska from Arizona to bring the girls home. Sadly, Kathy and Ben must also bring home the remains of their Daughter for burial. A task no parent should have to face.
Due to the circumstances of Cassi's tragic death, Kathy and Ben are required to remain in Alaska for an indefinate amount of time to go through the legal process required to bring their Grandaughters home.
As one can imagine the emotional and financial burden are taking their toll. Kathy and Ben have had to rent an apartment in Alaska while going through the process.
I am reaching out for financial support with legal fees, accomodation fees, counselling fees, burial/ funeral expenses' as well as costs assosiated with getting the girls set up and settled with their Grandparents back in Arizona.
