My name is JuliAnna, and I’m 19 years old, expecting my first baby. Recently, I received the heartbreaking news that my baby has spina bifida, a serious condition where the spine did not fully close and part of the spine is exposed. This diagnosis has changed everything for us, and we’re doing everything we can to give our baby the best possible care.

We just moved from California, hoping to start a new chapter, but now we’re facing a series of long trips—four hours each way—for my baby’s fetal surgery, regular appointments, and eventually the delivery. The travel alone is overwhelming, but the medical bills and extra expenses have made things even harder. I had planned to work until the baby was born, but with all the appointments and the need to focus on my baby’s health, I haven’t been able to keep a job. Every day brings new challenges, and it’s been difficult to manage our finances and daily needs on top of everything else.
