Anyone who knows my mom knows this: She has always been a giver. She is the kind of person who thinks about everyone else before herself, always showing up with love, kindness, support, and an open heart. She loves deeply, gives generously, and has spent her life caring for the people around her. Now, during the hardest chapter our family has ever faced, we are hoping to surround her with that same love and support in return. 
 
 
 
 
 Our mom, Judi, has been courageously fighting an incredibly complex and devastating medical journey. What began as a hospitalization has turned into a prolonged SICU battle filled with surgeries, complications, infections, dialysis, countless procedures, and weeks upon weeks in critical care. Through it all, she has shown strength, resilience, and determination. 
 
 
 
 
 Our family has been by her side every day—sun up to sun down. We're advocating, supporting, loving, hoping, and navigating impossible decisions no family ever expects to face. This journey has brought not only emotional heartbreak, but also overwhelming financial strain. Between medical-related expenses, transportation, meals, missed work, household costs, and the many unexpected burdens that come with a long-term critical illness, the impact on our family has been immense. 
 
 
 
 
 We are creating this fundraiser to help relieve some of that pressure so that our family can focus on what matters the most: being present for mom.
