Support for Joyce Butler and Family

Hello Glennwood staff, families, and the greater Decatur community, 

Glennwood's beloved cafeteria manager, Joyce Butler- her daughter, Lawanda Brown, has been diagnosed with cervical cancer at just 38 years old. Lawanda will be undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment every day for the next 5 weeks. Due to her intense therapy, she will be unable to work during her treatment. Joyce will be providing a lot of support to her daughter during this time, but, she could use additional resources and help. Ms. Joyce takes such wonderful care of our Glennwood staff, students, and families.
