<div>On December 28th, 2025, our family’s world was shattered when we lost our beloved John Oliver, just 24 years old, to senseless gun violence. His passing was sudden and completely unexpected, leaving us in shock and unimaginable grief.

<div>As his mother, no words can describe the pain of losing my child. John was my son, my heart, and my greatest joy. Losing him has left a wound that will never fully heal. Watching my family endure this loss especially his twin sister has been the hardest thing I have ever faced. No parent should ever have to bury their child.

<div>As his twin sister, John was more than my brother he was my other half. We shared a bond that began before we were even born, a connection that only twins can truly understand. Losing him feels like losing a part of myself. Every day without him carries a silence and emptiness that I never imagined I would have to live with.

<div>John was a loving son and a devoted twin, deeply loved by his family and those who knew him. He brought love, laughter, and light into our lives, and his absence has left a void that can never be filled.

<div>Along with the overwhelming grief, we are facing unexpected financial burdens as we prepare to lay John to rest and honor his life. During a time when we should be focused on healing, funeral and memorial expenses have added additional strain.
