Jim Pierson is not just my friend and co-worker—he’s the kind of person who always goes out of his way to help others. Right now, Jim is facing one of the toughest challenges of his life. As the sole provider for his household, he’s doing everything he can to care for his wife, who now requires 24-hour care due to illness. Unfortunately, insurance has left significant gaps, and Jim is also dealing with confusion from previous coverage that has resulted in unexpected costs he now has to pay back.

 Despite these hardships, Jim continues to show up for his family and friends with kindness and strength.
