Support for Jim & Linda Thoreson

We are requesting funds for Linda and Jim Thoreson as Linda is unergoing Chemo Therapy and Stem Cell Replacement as a treatment for her recurring Lymphoma. Linda has undergone two previous rounds of Chemo Therapy but the Lymphoma has returned each time. She (and her husband Jim) must temporarily relocate to the La Jolla, CA area from their home in Pahrump, NV during her treatment.  After her next Chemo Therapy treatment, she will receive Stem Cell Replacement. This treatment regimine has already started and is likley to last for 2 to 3 more weeks.  She will then need to leave the hospital and live within 15 to 20 minutes of the La Jolla Scripps Green Hospital for recurring monitoring. The monitoring phase could last two months or more, depending on progress. Linda and Jim are both retired and on fixed incomes and will need financial assisitance to be able to maintain their home in Pahrump, pay for temporary housing near La Jolla, pay for food, transportation, parking, incidentals & bills from home . Jim also has his own health challenges and will need to travel frequently back to Pahrump for his care.
