<div>This morning, my best friend of ten years, Jerissa, and her family faced an unthinkable nightmare. A devastating fire tore through their home, claiming everything they owned.

</div>

<div>Tragically, this was not just a loss of property. With broken hearts, we share that the fire took the life of Jerissa’s beloved mother, Lucinda and their three beloved dogs King, Bugs, and Ellie. In a single morning, their world was completely upturned.

</div>

<div>Jerissa is one of the most kind souls I know. After a decade of friendship, I have seen her show up for everyone else—now, it is our turn to show up for her. She and her family have walked away with nothing but the clothes on their backs and a grief that is impossible to measure.

<div>How Your Support Helps

</div>

<div>We are starting this fund to provide immediate relief as they navigate the coming days and weeks. Your donations will go directly toward:

</div>

<div>• Funeral and memorial arrangements for her mother.

</div>

<div>• Temporary housing and relocation costs.

</div>

<div>• Essential needs (clothing, food, toiletries, and basic supplies).

</div>

<div>• Beginning the long journey of rebuilding their lives from scratch.

</div>

<div>How You Can Help

</div>

<div>1.	Donate: No amount is too small. Every dollar helps ease the financial burden while they focus on grieving and healing.

</div>

<div>2.	Share: Even if you cannot donate, please share this link with your network, on social media, and with your community.

</div>

<div>3.	Prayers and Support: Please keep Jerissa and her family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

</div>

<div>We are so grateful for the outpouring of love and any support you can provide.

</div>

<div>Thank you for helping Jerissa find a path forward.
