Support for Jeff Pelletier during brain cancer

UPDATE: No details at this time, but Jeff passed away today, February 11. Prayers for the family.
We are setting up this fund for Jeff Pelletier, our colleague and friend at Main Street Veterinary Hospital. Back in October, 'goofy' Jeff was starting to have erratic behavior (even for him) - being late, not following up on house-sitting visits (a favorite extra-curricular activity), and losing time. After a couple of weeks of ruling out other issues, he was then diagnosed with a brain tumor. We can't even begin to describe the devastating effect this news had on his families - both biological and work-related. Since then, at Zale Lipshy (UTMed), he has had fluid removed, stents placed and two biopsies of the mass that is in a critical location. The first biopsy indicated a Stage 4 glioma/glioblastoma, with a very guarded prognosis, and the results of the second biopsy have not yet returned. The oncologist is likely proceeding with radiation therapy, as surgical removal at the site would be very problematic.
While he has insurance, the additional costs due to missing works, living expenses, insurance payments and co-pays will put him and his family in financial distress. We would like to minimize this part of their worries by starting the Go-Fund-Me page. If you would like to help out financially, we will make sure the funds are applied to the most dire needs, and to keep you updated.
