Hi Everyone,

My name is Tammy. I live in Florida, and I am starting this fundraiser to help my husband's family in Jamaica.

They were severely impacted by the devastation of Hurricane Melissa.

Hurricane Melissa, one of the most powerful storms to ever hit the region, made landfall in Jamaica on October 28, 2025. My husband has several family members—his mother, his sisters and brothers, and children—who stay in Saint Catherine, Saint Elizabeth, and Montego Bay, Trelawny Area, which saw catastrophic flooding and devastating winds that damaged their homes. We ask for help for them at this difficult time to help them rebuild and replace the things that they lost in Hurricane Melissa.

They will be using the funds to repair the damage to their homes and also for essential supplies: food, water, hygiene products, clothing, and household items. We are asking for help at this heartbreaking and difficult time. This will be a long journey trying to get things back together. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a direct and meaningful difference for my husband's family in the face of this heartbreaking event.

We are clinging to the resilience of the Jamaican spirit. We are grateful for your generosity during this incredibly difficult time. Please share our story with your network.
