Support for Jake Davidson

Donation protected
Jake and Ashley found their soulmates in one another.  Married three years ago, they have supported each other and most recently, their love was put through a major test.  Jake began experiencing stomach pain around a year ago and learned his gall bladder was to blame.  Jake continued to push through the discomfort and about three months ago, the pain became worse.  He took some over the counter medications to help combat the pain so he could continue working and support his family.  Saturday, January 6, 2018, Jake went to work, however, he became dizzy, and proceeded to become sick... he drove himself home.  Ashley and Jake assumed he had contracted the flu and proceeded to treat it as such.  Around 3:00am Sunday morning, Jan. 7, Jake woke up and quickly became sick.  Ashley brought him a cool cloth, and when she turned on the light she found Jake unconcious and blood everywhere.  Jake was rushed to the emergency room where it was discovered he ruptured an artery in his esophagus and had a hemmoraging ulcer.  He lost 4 units of blood immediately (the body is made up of 6) and continued to slowly lose blood. Three days later while in the hospital, Jake lost another large amount of blood with a bowel movement.  He began seizing and his vitals started crashing.  He was rushed to emergency surgery where doctors found 4 large ulcers that had grown into one mass.  It was a very invasive and intensive surgery.  Doctors have deemed Jake a high risk for another bleed.  He is currently still in the hospital and will probably not be released until sometime late next week and then will have a long recovery at home.

Both Jake and Ashley work in a commission based industry.  Ashley has not left Jake’s side and for good reason, she was there both times and essentially saved his life.  He has needed constant care.  Help us support Jake and Ashley until he is able to return to work.  They have lost a considerable amount of income and any monetary donation would be greatly appreciated.  Both Jake and Ashley have recommitted themselves to Christ and know that ultimately, He has the greater plan.

Sincerely,
‘Family of the Davidsons
