On October 27, the Cleveland community suffered an unimaginable loss. Two friends and coworkers, Ivan Aldergot and Tobias Gleinig, tragically lost their lives in the Barku plastics shooting. Their passing has left an emptiness that words can hardly describe.

 Ivan was a devoted father to two wonderful children and a loving partner to his girlfriend, Dana. He loved the outdoors and was always happiest when surrounded by nature or helping others. Ivan had a big heart and would do anything for anyone in a heartbeat. Tobias was known for his quiet, kind, and patient spirit. He was a loving partner and a devoted father figure to his non-biological daughter, whom he loved as his own. Tobias had a quiet strength that made everyone around him feel seen and cared for. He, too, was the type of person who would give without ever expecting anything in return.

 Ivan and Tobias were more than coworkers — they were family. Their laughter, dedication, and compassion touched everyone who knew them. They showed up for their friends, their families, and their community every single day. This fundraiser has been created to help their loved ones through this heartbreaking time — to assist with funeral costs, travel expenses, and ongoing support for the children and families.
