My four-month-old son, Huxley Jewel, was recently flown to Sioux Falls Children’s Hospital after experiencing seizure-like activity. We had no time to prepare for this emergency, and our family has now been at the hospital for three days. Because we left so suddenly, we didn’t have a chance to bring any of Huxley’s essentials with us—no extra clothes, diapers, bottles, or his food. This has made an already stressful situation even more difficult, as we try to make sure Huxley has everything he needs while we wait for answers from his medical team. 
 A little bit about huxley. huxley has always been a joyful baby, loves seeing new faces and making new friends, his presence brings nothing but love and smiles!, even at 4 months he’s got a BIG personality and is quite the character so full of laughter and love, he definitely is a very strong baby through and through! it’s been hard for our family to see him go through all of this the last couple of days. 
 
 Despite all the testing and care Huxley has received here, everything still remains a medical mystery. Not knowing what is wrong with him has added to our worry and stress, making this experience even more overwhelming for our family. The funds raised will help us provide Huxley with the basic necessities he needs during his hospital stay, including diapers, clothes, bottles, and food. They will also help cover the unexpected travel and living expenses that come with being far from home. 
 
 
 We are grateful for any help during this uncertain and challenging time. Your kindness will make a real difference for Huxley and our family as we navigate this medical emergency.
