My husband started dialysis a year ago and had to stop working. Then, in January, my job closed its doors for good. I did find another job, but it doesn't pay nearly as much. I am working on finding something better.

In February, my husband fell down the basement steps, ended up with a brain bleed, and got 3 different staph infections. We very nearly lost him. I, of course, had to take time off work during his almost 3-week stay. While in the hospital, we also found out he has lung cancer. I'm working full-time taking care of him; we do home hemodialysis, which takes 4 hours every other day. He needs help with most things some days, and some days he navigates just fine. He falls a lot, and I'm trying to get him home health care ASAP.

I'm tired, and this money would go such a long way. Paying bills, gas money for the many doctor appointments and buying him meds I can't afford right now.
