We are reaching out during a time we never imagined we would face. My husband has been diagnosed with advanced cancer and is currently undergoing extensive treatments. Much of his care requires traveling long distances, which has created overwhelming additional expenses for our family.

 Between medical bills, medications, transportation, and lodging for appointments far from home, the financial strain has grown quickly. My husband is currently unable to work due to his treatments and his g tube feedings. I am still working, but my income disqualifies us from a lot of the extra funding and help that might otherwise be available. This has left us in a very difficult position, trying to balance his care and our household needs while facing mounting costs.
