<div>Hello family and friends! <strong>I'm coming to y'all asking for some help.</strong> I never thought I'd be in this position, but life happens, and I'm at a loss at what to do. My health has gotten significantly worse over the past few months, which has made it to where I can no longer work.

<div>For those of you who don't know, I had surgery on my spine back in January due to the two disks where the spine connects to the skull being so damaged they were basically gone. It was causing partial paralysis on the whole left side of my body and was starting to progress to my right side. Emergency surgery was done because the doctor said I could end up fully paralyzed within a few short months because of how severe the damage was. As predicted, the surgery has not reversed the damage done to my left side, but it has stopped the progression. I have gained some mobility back in my arm, but my leg still gives out on me often, causing me to fall frequently. I've lost about half my muscle strength on my left side, and both my hands are numb more often than not, which causes me to drop things and not even know it until it hits the floor. I still have a few months before the plates in my neck completely fuse to my spine, so I still have to be careful with certain movements.

<div>Along with all that, I also have sciatica pain that causes my back to lock up, which also causes falls. I broke a piece of my ankle bone due to falling as a result of my leg and back giving out. And as if that's not enough, I am still having complications from my surgery I had when I had the tragic accident of falling on the broken stool 2 years ago.

<div><strong>I applied for disability in January, and I'm still waiting to see if I'm approved or not.</strong> I've had to close down my daycare because I can no longer safely care for small children and have yet to find a job suitable for my limited abilities. I don't get assistance other than recently being approved for SNAP, and I've had to go through all my savings due to all the hospital stays and time off, so needless to say, my finances are in big trouble. I've tried applying for all the local assistance with rent and utilities but have yet to have any luck due to lack of funding.

<div>I was blessed by some very awesome family members who helped with school clothes and supplies for Kynzlee as well as half my rent, and I'm so incredibly grateful. My landlord has been extremely understanding, but I know there is only so much she can do. Even with all the help, I'm still short on the remaining bills for this month, and I have no idea what's ahead for the future months until I hear from disability.

<div><strong>I am in no way comfortable asking for handouts, which is why it's taken so long for me to ask for help.</strong> I can do light housework or anything y'all may think of that I can safely do in exchange for help. If it was just me, I wouldn't worry, but being a single mom and her sole provider, I don't know how to do this alone. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I will do everything in my power to pay you back when I'm back on my feet. Prayers and good vibes are also a form of help!
