Support for Hartford Teen in Critical Condition

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A 16-year-old girl is in critical condition after being shot early Tuesday morning, according to Hartford police.

Police said they were dispatched to an undisclosed location in the north end of Hartford around 12:40 a.m. for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they located a female victim with a gunshot wound to the head. The teenager was transported to a hospital for treatment. As of Thursday morning, family has said she was listed in critical but stable condition.

The shooting is believed to be domestic-related, police said.
