My husband, Harim, is currently in the ICU since New Year’s Day fighting for his life after suffering a ruptured esophagus and two collapsed lungs. Nothing prepares you for seeing the person you love most connected to machines, unable to be home with the family that depends on him. Harim is not only my husband. He is my best friend, my partner, and the provider for our home. He is also the most loving father to our one year old son, who looks for him every day and does not yet understand why Daddy cannot come home.

<div>While Harim focuses on surviving and healing, our family is facing overwhelming medical expenses and the loss of his income. Asking for help is not easy, but right now we are humbly leaning on the kindness of others. Any donation, no matter the amount, helps us keep our home stable and allows me to focus on being present for our son and by Harim’s side.
