Hanna and Yosef

Donation protected
We need your help to save the life of Hanna, who is currently suffering from failed kidneys.  Hanna is a wife of Yosef (who is security guard at Mekane Yesus Seminary). She has been going through dialysis three times a week. But due to financial shortage, that's reduced only to two to one time per week only, which some how aggravates the problem. One time procedure requires birr 1,400.00 = $55.00 USD.

Parallel to the dialysis, Hanna should take some drugs, very expensive at their capacity, where she pays birr 1,500.00 per week = $56.00 USD. The medical board recommended transplantation of a kidney, which is now performed in Ethiopia, and they went through all the procedural steps and Hanna's brother is ready to donate his kidney to his sister.

However, they should secure a minimum of birr 250,000.00 ($9,150.00 USD) for the transplant procedure and care afterwards, at least for the first six months.

Hanna and Yoseph have 3 children, 17, 14, and 12. Yoseph is a security guard at MYS for more than 20 years and currently earns birr 2,500 per month, less than $100 USD. Due to her illness, Hanna quits her job, where she worked for EGST as a janitor. Most of the expenses for the dialysis and the medicine is covered by her poor but kind relatives. However this has become a bottleneck for them because of their financial incapacity.

Therefore, we (Mekane Yesus Seminary Alumni and Friends  Association) would like to ask everyone join hands to save Hanna. The first urgent need to rescue Hana is to raise the $9,150.00 USD at the earliest possible time. The sooner the better!
