<div>It is with deep sorrow that we share the heartbreaking news of the sudden passing of my beloved brother, Gustavo A. Morales, at 33 years old. He lived in San Mateo, CA and was dependent on my mom Maria Elena Rivera and my Dad Martin Morales.

<div>A loving son, brother, uncle. A shy, but friendly person. Unfortunately, he suffered throughout the years with his mental health and substance abuse.

</div>

<div>The addiction got in the way. It’s a disease. A disease that stole so much. Stole moments, memories, and eventually, the life of someone who had so much kindness in him.

</div>

<div>We will always cherish the memories and love he gave us.

</div>

<div>We are all in the process of grieving. My family is left with the unexpected cost of the funeral and service.
