Support for Gunnar and the Wolff Family

Donation protected
In late November, my nephew was brought to the ER for impaction and was admitted for critically low hemoglobin levels. He had to receive a full blood transfusion, his iron was low, and his kidneys were not retaining electrolytes. After being rushed to a hospital in Scranton, he had to be transferred to Geisinger in Danville. This set off a whirlwind of tests, findings of intestinal and blood disorders, and an extended hospital stay. He is being poked and prodded daily, and his doctors and nurses are working so hard to ensure his organs are responding and functioning properly.

My brother has had to miss work, and he and his wife have quickly learned that their insurance will not cover a huge portion of the medical expenses.
His hospital visit deadline has not yet been identified and although things are currently looking up, extensive tests and doctors visits are in his future.
Please help if you can, no amount is too small. ❤️ This time of year, we tend to worry about things like gifts and Christmas cards, but all we want this year is to get answers and see our sweet little boy back home with his family and be able to sleep in his own bed.
We also ask that you join us in prayer for answers Thank you so much!

Day #12...

Highlight of the day was seeing snow and the fire trucks. Gunnar had a colonoscopy, endoscopy and a manometry test done today. He’s as happy as can be even after the day he had. He’s stronger than anyone I know. Now we wait for the results from the biopsies that were taken today.
We want to thank everyone for their continued prayers! They do not go unnoticed by us. Thank you to everyone who has donated to Gunnar’s gofundme. Some of the donors are people I have never even met and their kindness and generosity are so appreciated. We can’t even begin to express how thankful we are to all of you!❤️

We’re praying that we are in the home stretch here. Praying for answers, clarity and healing.

Another huge thank you goes to my parents for everything they have done for us through this. My mother in law and father in law for everything they have done for us. My sister in laws for their support and help. To the great nurses here at Geisinger Danville who take such good care of Gunnar and their genuine concern and compassion for him and us. ❤️

Lastly our son Kurt for being so strong through this difficult time where he can’t be with us while we are here. We love and miss you so very much. We can’t wait for the day we are all together again! ❤️

Update!
Our strong and brave little man got to go home! But his fight isn't over quite yet ❤️ He has to keep his nasogastric tube in for a little bit longer and we're still waiting on some more answers. We're happy he gets to be back in his own bed though!

And he made it a point before he left the hospital throw a coin in the fountain to make a wish for all the other kids who are in the hospital ⛲❤️
