After a long 7 days in Alamosa hospital, my grandma's health declined quickly and suddenly. Our family was faced with an incredibly difficult decision: let her pass peacefully, or risk everything by intubating her in hopes of giving her a fighting chance. We chose to proceed with the intubation and transfer her to Pueblo, where she could receive the specialized treatment and care she needs from experienced doctors. Since the 21st, she has been hospitalized and her recovery will require her to remain far from home for weeks or even months.

 This situation has placed a tremendous emotional and financial strain on our family. We want to be by her side every step of the way, but staying in Pueblo means paying for a hotel, food, and other daily expenses. With work on hold, these costs are more than we can manage alone. The funds raised will help us stay close to her during her hospital stay, ensuring she has the support and love she needs to heal.
