<div>My name is Kerrie, on May 1, 2026, our hearts were shattered by the sudden and tragic loss of my brother-in-law Gene Smith in a motorcycle accident. Gene was more than a husband, father, family member, and friend — he was a kind soul whose presence brought strength, laughter, and love to everyone around him. Gene leaves behind his loving wife and two young children, who are now facing an unimaginable future without their devoted husband and father. No family is ever prepared for a loss this sudden, emotionally or financially. We are starting this fundraiser to help ease the burden during this heartbreaking time. Donations will be delivered to Gene’s wife, Kristina, to pay for funeral expenses, household bills, and providing ongoing support for their two young children as they navigate the difficult road ahead. If you knew Gene, you knew his love for his family was everything. He worked hard to provide for them and cherished every moment with his children. While nothing can replace Gene, we hope to come together as a community to show his family they are not alone.
