Support for Garrett Mercado

Donation protected
On Monday, January 14, there was a fire at Bully Life Animal Services, a dog boarding & training facility operated by Garrett Mercado in West Chicago. 31* dogs lost their lives and others sustained injuries. Garrett works closely with many Chicago rescues and boards & trains dogs that need help, the dogs that most others have given up on.

Garrett also lost his own dogs in the fire and treated the others as if they were his own. Garrett lost his home, his business and his best friends all in one morning. Please consider making a donation to help Garrett not only get back on his feet but continue his dream of helping Chicago's forgotten dogs.

In addition to the costs of rebuilding his life and business, Garrett has emergency room bills for the injuries sustained on his hands when he opened hot doors & kennels, trying to save the dogs.

No matter if you knew him or not, we can all agree there's a hurting human at the other end of this tragedy.

You can donate directly to the rescues that were affected here .
