<div>On Tuesday, March 25, 2025, our world turned upside down. Our mother was found unresponsive, and by the time first responders arrived, they had to perform CPR. She coded multiple times—once on the way to the hospital and again in the emergency room. Doctors told us she had gone without oxygen for over 30 minutes.

<div>She was placed on a ventilator in the ICU for a week, and an MRI confirmed our worst fears: the brain injury was too severe, and there was no chance of recovery. On Sunday, March 30, at around 5:20 p.m., we made the heartbreaking choice to remove all life support. She was taken to hospice care, and in a final act of strength and love, she held on for more than 35 hours before peacefully passing at 2 a.m. on April 1, surrounded by family.

<div>Our mom had a gift for making people smile. She had a quick wit, an infectious laugh, and a heart big enough to welcome everyone. She adored spending time with her family—her girls, her husband of 39 years, and of course her beloved dog, Mia. She found joy in simple pleasures: playing cards, working on puzzles, watching the Hallmark Channel, and sharing meals out with the love of her life.

<div>Her sudden passing has left us not only with a deep emotional void, but also with mounting funeral, burial, and medical expenses. Our dad is heartbroken at the loss of his wife and best friend after nearly four decades of marriage. We’re reaching out to friends, family, and anyone who can help ease the financial burden during this incredibly painful time.
