Support for families directly impacted by COVID-19

In April, moms living in Queens came together to help our neighbors who were hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. Volunteers fundraised, packed and directly delivered food to families with young children who were struggling to put food on the table.

We want to thank everyone for their donations over the past few months to families in Corona and Elmhurst. Over 300 families received groceries consistently over the most intense period of the pandemic. This part of Queens was known as "the epicenter of the epicenter" and has experienced the most COVID-19 related deaths and illnesses in all of NYC.

As of October 2020, we have decided to raise more funds to supply families that have been directly affected by COVID with meals for Thanksgiving.  Many families continue to deal with deteriorated health, as well as un-or under-employment related to the pandemic.
