He is now in custody and facing deportation to Mexico. This would mean losing everything he has worked so hard for and being separated from the children he loves more than anything. The thought of starting over after so many years is devastating, especially knowing he no longer has anywhere to go and no support system waiting for him.

<div>At the same time, his two children, who are both still minors, will remain here in the United States, facing an uncertain future without their father by their side. Emilio has always been their provider, their protector, and their constant source of love and guidance. Being separated from him is heartbreaking and frightening for them.

<div>The funds raised will be divided to support this family during an incredibly painful transition. Half will help Emilio survive and rebuild his life in Mexico, starting from nothing. The other half will go directly toward supporting his children in Minnesota, helping ensure they have food, housing, and stability while they endure this separation.
