Elsie Heard and her two children are facing an unimaginable tragedy after the sudden loss of her husband, David, who was killed by a drunk driver. David was the heart of their family, always putting others before himself and showing up for those in need. He was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to help someone else, and he left this world doing what he always did—helping others. Now, Elsie is left to navigate life without her partner, while trying to be strong for their two precious children.

 Along with the overwhelming grief, Elsie is facing the financial burdens that come with such a sudden and heartbreaking loss. The funds raised will help cover funeral costs and provide much-needed financial support as she and her children begin to adjust to this new reality.
