<div>The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Australia is deeply saddened by the recent earthquake in Western Nepal, which struck with a magnitude of 6.4, with its epicenter located in Jajarkot. This devastating earthquake has resulted in the tragic loss of hundreds of lives, numerous injuries, and the collapse of homes and buildings. Our hearts go out to the victims of this natural disaster, their families, and the courageous rescue personnel who are working tirelessly to assist those in need during this challenging time.

<div>In response to this crisis, NRNA Australia has taken immediate action. We have released $10,000 from our Disaster Relief Fund and initiated a fundraising campaign to support the victims in remote Nepal. This fund will be used to provide immediate relief packages on the ground. Our Vice President, Sanjay Puri, is currently in Western Nepal and will lead the distribution of these relief packages to the affected areas.
