Recently, my dad ( Steve Jenkins) received a terminal cancer prognosis. After battling a lung cancer that has now spread to his spine. This news has been incredibly difficult for our family, and we are now focused on making his remaining time as comfortable and meaningful as possible. The costs of end-of-life planning, household bills, travel for immediate family, and daily necessities have quickly added up, creating a financial burden during an already emotional time. There are also miscellaneous fees and expenses, as well as honoring his end-of-life wishes to accompany the service, that the family hopes to fulfill.

My dad has been a longtime helper in the local farm community and semi-truck driver, always lending a hand to fellow farmers and bringing people together with his warmth and sense of humor. He was once the life of the party and is known for his incredible cooking, making every gathering special for friends and family. His generosity and spirit have touched many lives, and now he is facing one of the toughest challenges yet.
